2013 Busa Fuel Gauge Problem

Hi , I recently filled up my bike went for a ride tank is nearly empty but gauge shows full ? i lifted the tank disconnected the fuel pump from the bike fuel gauge did not drop but stayed showing full. the rest of the cluster works 100% any ideas would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has had this issue what was the fix? i heard there is a gauge reset procedure for the Gen II's any one care to shed some light ? any help would be great ... thanks in advance.

Sounds like the float is stuck in the up position, in your fuel tank.

How many miles did you ride on the tank of gas? Have you done any recent work that required messing with the fuel tank or connectors? Have you messed around behind the gauge cluster recently, is the harness tightly secured?

If it was a wiring issue wouldn’t it show empty? Higher the float the higher the omes right?
