New (to me) Busa - fuel gauge problems

I have a 2002 busa I just picked up. Fuel gauge is showing full all the time. From what it looks like it has a gen 2 tank/fuel pump on it. Has the 4 wires on one side and 3 on the other. Is there a way to wire this in so that the fuel gauge will work.
