The Midwest MnG has become a traveling meet. This year semi, msBusaWhipped, and I are hosting it in the St. Louis Area.
MNG Central will be at the BusaWhipped's place about an hour west of downtown STL. Plenty of room at the house and there is a Best Western a few miles down the road if you prefer some privacy. Trailer parking at the house is not allowed by our association. If you plan on trailering please let us know so we can make arrangements.
Our community has a lake with a beach for swimming and an 18 hole golf course, so bring your swim suit and/golf clubs if you like. There is a fee for golfing.
There's plenty of things to see and do in the area. 3 days isn't nearly enough. Downtown St. Louis, famous for the Arch, also has the Science Center, Riverboat cruises, Casinos, Laclede's Landing. St. Charles County is wine country with tours available in several wineries. Hanibal, home of Mark Twain, is about 1 1/2 hours north and the ride to get there is awesome if you don't take the direct route.
Saturday we will be riding the great Missouri roads from Foristell to Bixby to get lunch. The route is 120 miles one way with an estimated travel time of 3 hours not including stops. That should give you an indication of the types of roads we'll be riding
