Bike was fine when last used, then sat for 6 weeks. Battery had died and was a bit old so replaced with brand new Yuasa.
Turn ignition on and there is no fuel pump priming noise. Engine does not turn over, lights dim when starter pressed. Clocks go through their cycle but fuel and temp gauges stay on max reading and 'CHEC' shows on cluster.
Aftermarket alarm doesn't appear active (maybe immobilised?) Puzzled as it was fine.

After a lot of looking into this (previously),

The kill switch, side stand switch will both cause this....maybe the side stand switch stuck, check it and push it in and out a few times with the key on to see if anything changes....check your kill switch.

Yes I've been browsing the past threads and checked the usual culprits and they seem to be ok. I've powered the firl pump and starter both of which operate ok.
Thanks for your reply.

Are the battery terminals tight? Dumb question: Is it the correct battery/terminal config?

There is the possibility the battery is not working. If you filled the electrolyte yourself I would have pretty good confidence that it is good. You could use jumpers and connect a car battery (car off, mark sure polarity is right) and see if the pump runs.

Next, it pains me to write this but how is the storage environment? Check for rodent damage of the wiring.

Check all your fuses and replace...sometimes one is bad and you can't see that it is...fuses are cheap and an easy thing to check off the box.

Do you have a manual? The manual identifies the indicator in the screen "chec (-)" is in there...

I was seriously considering rodents as the bike had been outside covered up since its last use. I have had a brief look but nothing obvious yet though there are a few mice droppings. Battery is brand new and fully charged. Cheers

I'll dig the manual out and check fuses again. I'm sure there was a post ages ago mentioning putting a paper clip across dealers terminal to give a code?
As the bike was ok and nothing has moved I'll check wiring thoroughly tomorrow for mouse damage! Cheers

This is in the manual when I searched for the "chec (-)"

According to the manual chec in the screen says it's either the kill switch, side stand interlock isn't functioning or the ignition fuse is blown....

Nothing resolved as yet. Awaiting delivery of an alarm bypass today. Possibly the immobiliser on the Datatoool has kicked in?

Is the center screen showing the gear indicator and odometer?

Are the lights dimming when the starter button is pressed?

Might want to check the clutch interlock switch.

She's alive Alarm bypass worked so failed Datatool Red alarm! I'd left a connection off on the clutch switch when I was checking the electrical system, luckily found it when double checking. Thanks to ncooksecurity on ebay for the alarm eliminator, and thanks to members on here
