2007 hayabusa fuel gauge the isnt working

I have a 2007 busa I just changed the fuel indicator in the fuel tank it was working for a few hours and now it shows the tank is full any ideas what do or how to calibrate it.

Just a long shot, but I'm guessing the tanks isn't full?
