Put a 17T front sprocket  (stock length) lowered, and went 3mph slower in 1/8,  same et 6.40's @ 112-113mph.   Put the 18T back on. back to 115-116  bike has Tsukigi pipe, k&n filter, gsxr 1000 stacks, brocks clutch mod links and strap.  anybody with similiar results?

Figured the 17t would pull faster...maybe the gearing ratio with where your at in the 1/8th?

Sounds like the bikes making enough power that it doesn't need to pull faster and all you're doing is going slower be cause of the gear reduction. You might even try a 19 to see if it has enough power to pull that gear and get faster speeds in the 1/8. Too much gear isn't always better. JMO

Your holeshotting better but the lower gearing is lowering MPH try stock gearing and leaving at a higher RPM to get the better holeshot try to get out on the clutch a little faster also maybe try 1 tooth up on the rear with a stock front that might be the perfect medium

same results here
