05 Starting issue

Well, wont start issue is more like it. Rode it last week and noticed I had to have the fast idle about 1/2 way or it died when I was stopped. Today I went to ride and it it cranks but wont start. Hits every now and then but otherwise just cranks over. After about 5 seconds of cranking the F1 light comes on but as soon as I let off the starter button it goes back out. Any ideas?

before the problem what wats ur idle rpm set at?

Yep, check your idle to be at 1250. Will it start with the fast idle engaged?

Wont start at all. It was a lil over 1k once it was warmed up. Im leaning toward the plugs being the issue. Smell of gas from the pipes is strong after trying to start it. Went to the local shop but no plugs in stock. Gonna pull em tomorrow and see how they look and go from there.

It only has 4500 miles on it, fuel stabilizer in it anytime its sat for more than a few weeks.

Changed out the plugs and fired right up.
