I tried to peel the decals off a damaged fairing, and it peeled the paint off with it. How did you get them off?

I like the red black 05 with decals but it doesn't matter what you do all Busa's look good

Used a hair dryer to heat the up decal then pulled it off slowly.Don't have any pics right now.I'll try to get some later to day.

Can you not get the decals off of the tank

I'd like to remove mine.

Looks good accept for there is nothing to blend the nose into the red.

Yeah, the all red looks better to me. The black nose just seems to throw things off a bit. Maybe if the vinly was left on the nose.....................

i just took off the bottom and tail stripes, might do the rest when i sand off the tank

I just took the decals off the right side do to sand damage- see the factory decals thread under appearance. This is EXACTLY the picture I was looking for. I was trying to decide what to do with the fairing. I like the idea of the lower stripes being left off. The upper black and the other curve really blend the scheme together. I like the all red too. It looks like the 04(03?) LE.
Again the site proves to be excellent!
