i just want to read about whats working as far as clutch setups,booast controllers,powercommanders,or any other stuff that would be helpful to save me money in the long run thanks bryan

there are a couple guys over on Gixxer.com that have turbo 1k's.  Go into "extreme performance" or 'drag racing' forums...they usually hang out there.  Just be prepared as a newb with your questions.  Make sure they are specific or they will be mean  

  they aren't quite as nice as the people here.

Well as far as the clutch you will need a 01-04 clutch setup and lockup if you intend on drag racing it PC i dont know, Boost controller AMS1000 is the best, boost by smith has a gear based setup that works great too.

I know first hand on the turbo setup for the 05-06 1000 i built a kit for my friend and he has beat on it all year (he has ran7-8lb on a stock motor) with no problems at all except the stock clutch setup wont hold,we dont use a pc we use secondary inj. for the fueling so it drives like a stocker till it boost's. I also helped a guy on gixer.com setup his secondary system on his 04 1000 and it ran great too.
