04 tank onto a 99?

As the title suggests.... Specifically interested in 01 - 02 as I have the 99-00 manual already & am planning to fit the later (in tank pump) type tank to my 99 bike. The 99 has the external pressure reg with the vac takeoff but the later intank pump / reg assembly has no vac feed hence I assume the ECU is different to cope with the slightly altered fueling requirements?

Alot of trouble,harness,ECU,Throttle bodies, everything from the 04 basically has to go on the 99,I just did this,I put an 04 engine complete in a 99 frame.
