04 switch mod for flashers

Has anyone successfully upgraded their switches to 04 to use the hazards? Can you tell me what to connect to get the 4-way flashers to work?

From what I read, it is pre-wired and setup to work from the factory. You will just need to swap out the plug on your 99-03 bike to work with the 04+ plug on the new switch. Or you can just order one from overseas since they have had it since 99.
