Considering frame sliders

Are the rosin materials better than chrome. Talk to me people. Convince me to cut my plastic. Saw the ones that require no cutting, but me no likey. I welcome all pics and discussion.

IMHO, they can be a great investment. In regards to your low-side, I think they would have held up pretty well.

Is it possible to cut the holes WITHOUT having spaces around the sliders, or do you need the spaces so if you drop the bike there is a little wiggle room? Also, what so you guys think of the onew with the led lights in them. I saw those and i thought they were pretty cool.
