Shifter activation button acted up on me

2 years no probs with my pingle shifter.Went hit button last night nada.tried again in pit erea would work mabe 2nd or third try.I though because my battery i know mine is weak.We sprayed little contact cleaner on it.And it came back 2 life.This bike dont go in rain so mabe dust or condensation got in it.

Connections can sometime tarnish(so to speak) causing failure.

MUST HAVE LITTLE SPRAY + it worked great again.I thought I was dOomed.Ended up takin home some $$ for the 5th race in a row.I got that thing mounted upsidedown on purpose I WANT UPSHIFT ON BOTTOM i CAN HIT IT BETTER THERE.

I don't know how it is wired but can't you just reverse the leads on the servo instead of mounting the switch upside down?

HMM MABE Nobody ever noticed it just has that wire showing on top that would be on bottom.That other one is delay timer activation.After I put thumb on that I let clutch handle go out but the cable is still being held in by hydraulic clutch release mounted @ my clutch slave.When delay timer goes off it releases it.I gotta get new battery this week @ battery+ .Mine is done I was charging it up then waiting till bikes started then ride it up there.
