Find a friend w a wire welder..have him place a nut over the hole and weld up through hole...I've had many a snapped bolt fixed this way

I'll be getting into the trans to fix my first gear issues over the winter. I wanted to get a little work done to the motor as well. I thought about doing a 1397 but I don't really want to get into the bottom end. Would it be better to go with a ported head with cams? The motor as 25k on it...

Its jumping outta gear...I just had second gear undercut and got her back together myself...I've searched the forum up and down looking for answers for jumping outta first...couldn't b A bad fork..that would cause other problems...could a worn clutch be the culprit..the bike has 25k showing and...

it actually feels like its skipping a tooth..but like I said only at 9500rpm....no loss of power....just a quick skip.....IDK....Ill live with it this season.I Just had 1st gear redone and dont feel like splittin cases again till the winter when I tear the whole motor down for 1397 kit!!! :)

Ok so I finally got all my gremlins taken care of..no more leaks, drips, overheating.....bike runs like a raped ape....except.....at exactly 9500 rpm it almost feels like its jumping outta 1st gear...but why at exactly this RPM??? if its a bad gear engagement wouldnt it jump out at peak...

Hey guys, just finished buttoning up the motor after getting 2nd gear redone and after dealling with a couple of gremlins (stuck fan, bad battery and a busted thermostat cover) i was all set to fill er up and take her out.....I filled her up with a bit more oil than called for at an oil change...

I think Im gonna do it right and replce the bolts...I just dont want the case flexing under load, and have the possibility of the of the output shaft "walking" and creating havoc....all I did was have 2nd gear undercut.....but this was my first time inside the motor...guess I did okay if this...

I was putting the Engine back together late last nite..got down to final torqueing of bolts..did the crankshaft bolts in proper sequence and torque, as well as all the perimiter bolts...I was torquing the bolts near the starter and snapped one..WTF?? ...its the bolt that sits in the middle of...

Would this work?? I dont want to shell out $400 plus for a new rear shock if I can pick one of these up for about $100.....are they superior???

I'm in the process of installing a new 2nd gear and/or shift fork....I felt it jumping out a little and before it turns into a lot I'm gettin her fixed. I have removed everthing necessary to drop the motor ie exhaust, throttle bodies, radiator etc....I've never tackled anything like this before...

stock rotors..and i ran the pads across some 100 grit before i put them on...

I'm lost on this....anyone got an easy, retard-proof way to do this....I keep trying to get it right but i think I keep making it worse.....low beam is too hi, hi- beam to low.....they dont seem to adjust independant of eachother....WTF????
