didnt mean it was slow just feels like it compared to the torque of the busa.i know what ur sayin about keepin the revs up to get in the power band.im not used to keepin on the boil, busa spoiled me i guess .thanx
in 2006 i bought a gsxr1000 in place of my busa.have not been on this site alot since then though i do miss it,nice people.i have always missed the torque of that busa.when i first got on that 1000 i thought it was slow,it just didnt have that arm stretchin torque.but now i guess i am used to it...
switched from the busa to a 06 1k. hope i did not make a mistake. is it ok to still hang out on the board? i will prolly trade it in for the 07 busa if there is a change, kind of miss my old bike allready, let you know how i like it if you are interested.

does anyone ever change their fuel filter? it is not in the recommended maintenance schedule or in the shop manual schedule for recommended maintence intervals. any clues on how many miles this should be changed at? i have 11,000 on mine and no problems yet.
how far past the tread wear indicaters does everyone let the tire go before replacing it? i can only get about 1800 to 2k out of a batalax 56,i let it go past indicaters until almost smooth in middle and little tread on outer edges
thinking about trading in the busa for 05 gsxr1000,maybe somebody should talk me out of it. considering because the 05 1000 is supposed to be the fastest and badest
