    Suspension settings

Did you dial the settings in on the forks before you lowered the tyre pressure?. Dont foreget the stock settings for the front is a lot softer. It works very well for me.

    Suspension settings

When I dialed those settings in I was worried about the tyre pressure being so low, but Ive been out on quite a few fast rides and the handling is fantastic. Ive had my knee down on many fast bends and the bike is solid. Feed back through the tyres and suspension is good and the tyres dont cook...

    Buying a busa

Ive got a UK 2000 model and have had 2 recalls on it. First one was done in the shop before i picked it up and the second was carried out a few months later. Both were on the cam chain adjuster. Nothing since. If you get a 2000 model its not restricted but the later ones are.

Grabby clutch - are all busas like this?

Billy. Mines a year 200 and Ive had that problem from the word go. I have never been able to slip the clutch for a quick standing start, it just grabs. When the bike is on the move sliping the clutch is no problem. Just learn't to live with it. One way to look at it is you wont burn the clutch...

    Cam chain adjuster

Thanks for all the feedback. Ive now got the bike back and for the first time in a long time the engine feels totally drifferent. It seems to have a lot more power on tap and also a lot more engine breaking,so perhaps the cam chain has been out by one tooth for a long time. As soon as I get a...

    Cam chain adjuster

Thanks TJFAST for the info on the valves. Had a word with the shop about that and they seem to think there isnt a problem. Thanks again. Also thanks to CLAYTON. The shop has ordered a new adjuster. All parts and labour are being carried out under warranty. Hope this is the end of all the...

    Cam chain adjuster

Got a year 2000 model Busa. At 14000 miles the adjuster decided to release it self while slowing down for a roundabout & boy did it do some damage to the top end. Had that repaired under warranty, no probs. Have now done another 14000 miles, took it in for "another" service and just been told...

    Hayabusa and passengers.

I've had my baby for 2 years this month and the clock is now reading 27000 miles. When I go out for a ride it always causes an argument between my wife & son as to who gets the pillion seat. They both find it very comfortable for short, long and fast rides. (Longest is Assens, Holland). Highly...
