Interest only to California riders. While out riding today I noticed a new color for at least one CHP car. We’re all used to the black and whites, and occasionally an all white version but today I saw a solid dark grey car and the CHP door emblem was hardly visible, like ghost lettering. When I’m touring out of state I’ll ask someone at my first stop what color and type are the state revenuers cars. When they notice which bike I’m riding they seem to understand completely. :D

Our taxpayers dollars at work to keep our interstate highways ️ safer while taking money from the commuters discretely *

Our police drive lots of low profile and unmarked patrol cars........for a while they had a silver Toyota Camry that got a lot of people....

They have a few pick up trucks that throw you off as they don't have push bars or light bars.....just a regular plain 'ol pick up until they turn on the lights, they have a really good hidden light package.....

One of the reasons to avoid our interstate highway systems , is all the erratic cage driver’s disrupting smooth traffic flow *

Here the cops use cars with no markings and they blend in as they use different colors..

I saw a silver Camry the other day and it was really hard to tell it was a cop car.....

The only good part of this is they are only allowed to have a certain percentage of these "ghost cars" in service....

That’s the same here I think due mostly to the notion that the public needs to be able to spot one when needed.
