Shoei Visor Colors

I ordered the pinlock for the RF-1100, I have been waiting for it since November, yesterday it arrived, I have never owned a pinlock lense, well I also did not know that you have to buy the visor to, so now I have the $31.50 lens but I have to pay another $47 to get the visor to attach it.

I dont think I want to do that so I am looking at the colors, I have always owned a dark smoke visor but whats with the "hi-def orange and yellow"

Do they block out the sun or are they just for night riding.

Also there is 3 levels of smoke colored shield, any one have different ones beside the dark smoke.

I have looked around and cant find much about the colors.

the mirrored shields look good but they will scratch very easy, so I would stay with the smoked ones.

I've always heard that, but I used mine all last season and it's not scratched at all. Maybe mine is the exception to the rule?

LABUSA had a new one at the bash a few years ago and it scratched easy. My HJC also scratched very easy.

Mine is mirrored as well, but a Scorpion lid, not sure if that makes a difference but the only scratch was a drop which was my fault, otherwise no scratches from cleaning or anything else.
