Doing a bit of a brake upgrade and was wondering, if anyone has seen, done or heard of someone running dual braided lines from the abs pump to the front calipers?
Is it possible?

yes - possible and a pretty good idea .

you can install two long braideds with a double banjo bolt directly at the abs pump - eventually you need one alu washer more because the double bolt can be 1 or 2 mm too long and the 3rd alu washer can compensate that ;) - usually it is 2mm thick .

but the thread takes the correct bolt size (m10x1,0 OR m10x1,25)

i know that 100% sure because did so at my installing an abs on my '00s and at others .

Legend and thanks for taking the time to reply.
I'm waiting on a call tomorrow from the local rep of Hel products and to see if they can make me up 2 lines.

Hmm… interesting.
Every manufacturer I’ve checked still use the loop over the fender idea.
I want to eliminate that totally and run full dual lines from the abs pump all the way to the calipers. Why?
Because I’m in the process of a major brake upgrade and want it to be clean and the best it can.

Why not just run dual lines from the front mc to the front calipers?
Core-Moto will customize it if they don't offer it.

Core-Moto should still be able to make whatever length lines that you are specifically wanting.
Indeed..
I have been in contact with Core-Moto and Spiegler as well as Hel all waiting on a reply.
I would've thought it wasn't a total left field question.. Even a single line to a Y piece under the nosecone would do as a last resort. Anything to get rid of that stupid over fender loop

I've installed Core-Moto lines on three of my bikes now. The banjo bolts and lines always have perfect bends, everything always fits great. Highly recommend them! My ZX10 had a single line from the master cylinder to a splitter for each front caliper. I replaced all that with a double banjo bolt and two separate lines for each caliper. As long as there is room for the extra height should be no issue. The ABS pump on the busa is under the tank while some other bikes like R1's and BMW's have them under the seat and there is less room available but I think the Busa has plenty of room for a double line.

Hmm ... Just had a chat with one of the local distributers / suppliers of name brand lines.
As it's a factory abs, and due to our over regulated state/country, they won't do any custom work that changes the abs system.
As any issues that may arise, will fall back to them and be liable.

So, I may be stuck unless I de register it and use it as a track bike only, then i can bypass the abs, but thats not an option.

Why not just buy a set of core moto hoses online and forget all the stupid govt regs?

As much as I'd love to, but as the bike is road used, and I tour and I often ride two up, and it sees track days, it needs to be legit and fully insurable.
And assuming the worst with two up, if the bike was inspected, then I'd be dragged over the coals.
Even the lines need to be stamped with a Australian approval number to be legit and compliant.

Yes it’s all about insurance at the end of the day.
I don’t run insurance because it’s optional here in NZ… I’m single, no woman to pressure me to do the insurance thing.
I forget that other people are actually ‘responsible citizens’ lol.
I understand your position Otta, I hope you can achieve your goal of ABS hose improvement.

What is the default line connector to the ABS pump. Is is proprietary?

My bike is 2017 and I think that I need to replace the 7+ year old lines. From recommendations here I came to like the color selections at Core Moto. I have considered the above solution and also wondered about putting a "T" connector at the front of the bike as I see on Ducatis.

I am considering the Brembo RCS 19 and wonder if I should add bar risers. For me a novice there seem to be too many variables to make the routing change and try to spec the set of lines correctly. I am thinking to go the safe route and order the pre-assembled set of lines, maybe extending the master line slightly.

Expertise and motivational thoughts?

Coremoto builds lines. They have the correct end on them for the ABS pump.
It's not hard to replace the lines

Yes this is in the context of @Berlin Germany's design to create a home run to the left caliper, and understanding the OEM setup versus the change. When custom ordering CM stated to leave one end off of the spec. I presume that means they are completing the cable with that OEM connector at the ABS pump. I am curious what that connector is, proprietary or standard.
