Anyone here own a 07/08 gsxr 1000

I found a pretty good deal on a 07 with low mileage and a slip on. I've owned 30+bikes over the years but never a k7. From the reviews they seem to be just so so. I had a k6 which hauled ass pretty well once modified.. Looking for some real world input on the k7/8 if anyone has one.

k7-k8 1000 is like the k5-k6, but with more hp and more electronics. Good solid bikes

I tracked one for a lot of miles. They are great bikes.

The most rear wheel hp I have ever seen on a GSXR 1000 with a stock engine, pipe and tune was a 2006 and then about two years later, a 2007. Both of these bikes made more hp and torque than the S10000rr up to 10K, where the BMW took over . . .

Hmmm im thinking I should grab it. It's mint with only 9000 miles
