pulled the bike out of the garage to let her warm up. walked in the garage, came back out... she was on her side...it was quite windy. scratched the left fairing, broke my clutch lever at the tip, broke the peg slider thing. I bout cried. not even 1k miles on her.

left the house....forgot my back pack (was going to get a pair of golf shoes and had to take it to carry them)

get about 30 miles from home, round a corner. there is a cop. he flashes his lights at me before I ever get there... pulled over.. ticket.. 66 in a 55 (and he told me he used to ride sport bikes)

and to top it off.. there were so many bugs out.. my shield looks like it went through the plague.

:(

I am now taking the fairing stickers off and putting some black fingernail polish on the scratches. is there any cheap places to get fairings? :)

My day like yours happend a few weeks ago. Not body damage but plenty of other issuse including a 69/45... and that was a gift! He cut me a huge break. Fortunately it was still dark enough he couldn't see I was carrying the front wheel.

Hope the sting wears off soon.

Sorry about your bad day. Have you done the kickstand mod? If not if you are close to me I will be glad to help with it if needed. I took my kickstand off and cut some out of it even after I did the mod. Mine is lowered though. Just let me know if needed
