So there was a raid as seen by witness' in Abbotabad. Helos did swoop in and shoot up a compound. Apparently they killed somebody, maybe?

But......

If this was a sudden discovery of his whereabouts how did they have time to build a complete mockup of the place and allow the seals to practice for 'weeks' as has been stated? Im still very skeptical because as I said all of the sudden we care about not inflaming Muslims and gave him a proper within 24 hours burial? At sea?
Really?
No body, no pics, just here's a one line that says military officials have confirmed it was him thru DNA testing.
Take it or leave it, from ones who lie to us daily ???

But realistically when you are dealing with these fundamental extremist, providing him a burial ground allows them to come worship him. Not buring him in 24 hours and "disrespecting" muslim culture would cause unwanted American deaths. I am good with "not knowing for sure" as long as that means that at least one less American will die because of it.

In most of the Muslim world Osama had become and outcast.
We should have kept the body long enough to put all the disbelievers to rest and then we could have chunked him in the sea. To do it so quick just create questions.

Ron the pic you just attached is gonna happen whether or not Osama is alive.
If we had gotten him ten to fifteen years ago maybe things would be different but he simply inspired a movement which is worldwide and now flowing with or without him.
Our enemies will continue to capture and kill our troops no matter who leads Al Qaeda.


What about the fourth Helo that crashed and we blew up?
Where's the pics of that from your local Pakistani farmer?

I understand from some of my friends 'in the business' that there are pics - just a matter of time before they are released. You can count on it.

I still say hang his corpse upside down public viewing in NYC after coating him in bacon grease - THAT's a message those people would understand....remember when the contractors who got killed in Iraq got hung on that bridge? Whether it ticks them off or not, the message I want sent is "You mess with the US, understand we will stop at nothing, no matter how long it takes...of that, you can be certain".....

You are thinking with your 21st Century-educated, basically Christian value structure. Gotta look at it from 12th Century point of view. Because it's the message that most of our enemies would clearly understand, as brutal as it sounds. The parts of the world that are creating these radicals don't necessarily live under the best living conditions and education the world has to offer...I find the thought of it distasteful too, but I understand that the message has to fit the understanding of those it's intended for....

If you think it would cause them to hesitate a second in killing another infidel, you'd be mistaken. Frankly, just makes it easier to pick out the real targets...

The Arabian Sea is about 960 miles away, so I doubt scuba gear nor boats played a role.

Sweet we could fly into their country undetected , be on the ground 40 minutes then get back to the carrier without Pakistan even getting a jet into the air. On the police or military going to check out what was going on ,deep sleeper's i am guessing.

A helicopter crashes and topples onto it's side. They're near a military academy and there are police throughout. Nobody comes to see what's going on? 30 - 40 minutes later our teams leave and still no cops? Something just not right about that.

If there is a bombing there is a police presence within minutes. We must have helicopters that crash silently now.

Very well. I just saw that going through this thread in my phone. Im keeping track of this thread and would rather it not be ruined with belittlement.

I myself agree with how odd it was that they rushed to bury the body. Maybe to keep from any hassle of other governments or people wanting his body? Its still weird nonetheless
