While you're changing oil and have the side cowling off, check the rubber
grommets on the radiator. I have an 06 and I noticed mine were already drying up.
Best thing to preserve them is a shot of silicon spray lube. When I worked at
a Chevy dealer in Cleveland, they educated me about preserving rubber with silicon spray.

another good agent to use is vasoline,,they recomend is on all the cardoor rubbers and the chevy dealer when we bought a camaro used off of him said to keep in on the rubber parts of the T-tops,,so they wont dryout or crack and leak,,good advice on the silcone spray,,,i use it on drive belts on the technical machinery that I service,,it recommends it to keep the cracks on the serpentine drive belts on those 4 1/2 hp electric motors and keeps the noise down without slipage

Thanks for the heads up. Not to jack the thread but will it keep your doors from freezing shut in the winter? I always had to use the Black Tire Magic in December.

Yes, using it on door seals helps prevent them from freezing.
