Finally got to break away and take the boys out shooting this weekend (and my middle sons girl friend)

I am still kind of breaking them in, especially my 11 year old. going over safety and such and bascially acting as a range master while we were out there (I.E. focusing more on all of them than getting to shoot much myself) but thats ok, thats what I am supposed to do as dad right?

first time my 11 year old has ever shot. I started him out with the .22 them moved him to the .223

It was cool. the first round he fired with the Kel-Tec he chuckled, then he fired a few more rounds and really chuckled. he said "this thing is awesome!!" or something to that affect.

My oldest son got to fire my Desert Eagle .44. that put a smile on his face (as you will see) I cant wait until I get the .50AE upgrade for it. that will put a smile on MY face. I still have to site in the laser sites on it but I can do that in my backyard with my laser bore tool.

So anyway, here are the pictures

hey rangemaster, get them fingers off the triggers...

When I was 13 some neighborhood friends, one street over, were playing with one of their dad's "unloaded" .375 Magnum. Both boys knew better. The younger boy ended up with a large hole in his cranium.

Moral of the story is that the finger doesn't touch the trigger unless you're gonna kill something.

I know they're in training, finger discipline is on the top of that list. Also let them know that the full Sabrina is for pix only. Great looking crew and heck of a nice range you got

Easy way to help teh kids remember to keep their fingers off the trigger.

Keep your booger hooks of the bang switch!

Making it funny makes it easier to remember sometimes.

Looking good otherwise!
