a few words from a large fellow who rides w/pass. quite a bit...lowered and stretched
I dropped the rear 2" and the front 3/4", and I had to raise the rear of the bike using the rear shock collar (which makes bike SUPER stiff) just to keep undertail from hitting the tire (but I have THE lowest undertail u can buy-others offer 1-2" more clearance), which made my back fell like a mangled knot whenever I got off the bike...NOT comfortable for rough-street riding. thank goodness GPW from HPC hooked me up just a few weeks after I did my stretched-arm conversion
Now I got new rear spring n re-valved rear shock (still OEM piece just workd-over) & the bike rides better now than it did stock (in my Wife's opinion)- and I cant complain about the take-off speeds now

trust me-if u plan on taking long winding drives with your lady on the back, that shock/spring combo is going to save you big$$ on chiropractor bills and hemmroid creme
plus, its a mod that seems like its "for them"

"honey- I love you sooooo much, I want you to be extra-comfy on my bike, so I bought you this nice suspension setup to keep you cozy back there."

get her a Tobin seat too and you'll never get to ride that bike by yourself unless its raining
and just to prove 'low-n-looong' dont always mean 'low-n-slow'
