This'll be one for the record-books...fo' sheezie.

I have stayed at the Peppermill in Reno. I got a smoking room and it was terriable. Around a bunch of truckers and such.

The main Hotel area above the Casino is where to stay. Might want to look elsewhere but just a heads up.

Great that you both are putting forth the effort.

im there Scar, and could do the point person for sacto, were about 100 miles from Reno here and know some awesome twisties all over the Sierra

We actually have a dozen different rides already lined up; from a short 76-mile Virginia City Twisties ride, to a monster 489-mile local ride over Lake Tahoe/Sierra Mountain Range!

What we may have you do is conduct some pre-riding of the specific routes shortly before the event, to ensure the roads are all still good from the winter, no construction, etc.

Assuming you're up for that, of course.... :beerchug:

I've discussed local "killer" routes with Scar this past summer.............do not overlook Monitor Pass, Ebbetts Pass, Sonora Pass and the Sierraville/Downieville loop rides when putting together a ride schedule. All well under 300 miles round trip from Reno. The "truck route" up towards Virginia City is sports bike heaven (mini dragon, if you will), but this past summer many members of our local sports bike club have been nailed by LEOs waiting at the bottom of the run. Locals have been complaining of late. Uhhhhmmmm, Warchild? Please exclude from your list high speed antics out on the Black Rock Desert! Sheeeesh!

We will be there. However, I am trying to convince JC that we need to make a stop in San Diego and say hi to peeps there...and maybe go to Disneyland too. Make a BIG vacation out of it. Fun times...

We will be there. Never been to Reno before:thumbsup:

Sarah: You know you and Jeff have a place to stay if you come here...:beerchug:

Very cool indeed! Lot of good riding around Reno! :cheerleader: Those with time, make sure to plan to explore a bit as Reno is in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Tim: We'd be honored if you could fit this into your schedule. You're famous/legendary in our world...
