Keep the top cover.does any one know how to lower the front of a buse without changeing my top cover and lowering my forks?
Not to be rude but that doesn't look so hot? Sorry.I used oversized bollts and washers to raise my triple plate. To lower the front all you have to do than is loosen the fork clamps and let them slide up.
If interested I have a 1 1/4" Genmar riser I am not using and would sell. Send me a PM if interested.Keep the top cover.does any one know how to lower the front of a buse without changeing my top cover and lowering my forks?
Add a spacer.
And let the forks come up through the spacer to the standard position on the top cover.
This is mine with a Genmar 1 1/4" riser.
Please excuse the snow.
thanks so much thats what will work for my needshttp://secure.mycart.net/catalog....vnext=1
This is what I will be ordering from Schnitz Racing when I have the shop rebuild my forks with heavier springs to compensate for my weight and drop. Be doing the 1 1/4" spacers, actually shifts the springs higher in the fork tubes so lowers your bike but does not reduce the effective travel of the forks.
