What a joke....

Blanca, I wouldn't take that bet even if you were offering 100:1 odds. - He'll win again because the GOP refuses to nominate someone who could actually beat him.

Raydog, your attitude is precisely why some Americans are seen as jingoistic idiots. - You admit that you don't know my nationality, yet you get all pissy because I am criticising The One while I am not on US soil. That is not the mark of an intelligent person.
I am absolutely within my rights to question or criticise him, whether or not I am a US citizen. After all, the US certainly has no qualms about questioning the leaders of other countries.

Obama is unquestionably the worst President the USA has ever had. He is a bigger fool than Carter and a worse liar than Clinton. Unfortunately, the Democrats have now got so many people hooked on welfare that they have a permanent voting bloc. This is why he will win again.
If people on welfare were prohibited from voting (as I believe they should be), the Democrats would never win another election.

I dont need to read the stupid bill. I work in health care at a hospital and i have seen the results of his bs first hand. Lastly i have read a lot of the bill and it is bs! The "kenyan" I call the socialist has and continues to take our rights and freedoms right out from underneath us and the "liberals" think its all good and no problem. Any true blooded american should have a problem with this.

You don't need to read "the stupid bill"?! The challenged components don't even apply for another 1 1/2 years yet you've seen the results? Perfect reasoning. I know two things from your posts....you are the first one to throw an unfounded personal label out (calling me self righteous) and stating basically that "any true blooded American should have a problem with this". Like I have to agree with you to be a true blooded American? That's the very reason I refer to my military background.....there's an asumption that someone as liberal as me couldn't have been in the trenches and come up as a liberal. You know what, have a good life and enjoy the Fox News bubble.

So now I have entered the realm of "not an intelligent person". What a great IQ test that is. And your comment about the worst President we have seen? Wow, I'd love to see the comparative analysis you used to determine that, could it be the "seat of the pants, he never does what I like" method? I'm outa here, I think I'll go get an "I'm a jingo" tatoo.

Robert, I'm amazed that you think the media is liberal. Cain? Wow, he didn't even know the current status of Libya, doesn't that create any concern for you?

I don't care where Obama was from. The Fact is that he Failed Miserably as the President of the United States of America. Liberals give Excuses While the Conservative Majority of America is trying to give us Solutions. The best Republican for President was Herman Cain....................Liberal MEDIA took care of that !!!!!

I didn't think the 'kenyan' reference was exactly in the best of taste either Raydog, which is why I stayed out of this one. I don't like the "war criminal Bush" moniker so freely thrown around either as both deserve an equal amount of respect for their office. Albeit there are times I admittedly stray. SO, in the frame of the start of your post, I actually agree with you. Makes it hard to have a genuine debate when it starts with an outright insult.

As a former member of the armed forces, I am now 'unmuzzled' so to speak and can opine more freely; And while he is CINC he does deserve a measure of respect, but that does not mean I can't be critical of his administration and actively seek his non-reelection.

P.S. Blanca is right, I have yet to have a feel-good that we don't end up with four more years of this. Frankly, the Tea Party may be our only salvation. Nobody may like it, but it would be a lot harder to go broke with a fiscally conservative administration. People might not like it, but that's usually the case when stuff isn't free anymore.

P.P.S. If someone actually put out that Christmas card meaning it's face value, they are deluding themselves and encouraging the 'cult of personality' this President seems to crave. If it's a right-wing joke card, it's not really in good taste and while humorous, takes away from the spirit of Christmas. Scary thing is that both sides have become so polarized they can't even talk to each other.

The Kenyan? I've been a part of this org too damn long to not comment on all this awful snyde crap you people throw at the President. You don't like him? Fine, don't use caddy little unsubstantiated crap to undermine him because he's not in your political party or not a "proud conservative". And stop inventing absurd reasons for hating him. I could fill this Forum up explaining how ridiculous the Bachman's and Perry's are but I actually have respect for citizens I don't agree with. As a combat Marine I also am proudly a Progressive Democrat, admittidly a minority on this org....but I'm not going anywhere and will always speak up when the discourse feels personal to me.

BTW, "Redistributing Americans' wealth" ? I think you are referring to the sellout CEO's in this Country. If you are referring to foreign aid....as I read the amounts of foreign aid distributed, I see little change.

Your not alone on here.. I'm with you ..good post....someone mentioned bafoon ah were you talking about Bush.

You and I may disagree but but, I think I accept you and value your opinion, there, I said it. Doyle

If you like a good beer every once in awhile and motorcycles (not at the same time) then I think we have a starting point :beerchug::laugh:

I could always tell Marine jokes

Thanks for restoring my morale!

This is the part of the law that will turn this into the Government as the single health care provider in a few years:

•The law requires insurers selling policies to individuals or small groups to spend at least 80% of premiums on direct medical care and efforts to improve the quality of care. Insurers selling to large groups (usually 50 or more employees) must spend 85% of premiums on care and quality improvement. A medical loss ratio of 80% indicates that the insurer is using the remaining 20 cents of each premium dollar to pay overhead expenses, such as marketing, profits, salaries, administrative costs, and agent commissions.

There is no company that can operate in those margins. If the Government had to itemize the same way the Corporations do, it couldn't provide health care on those margins either. They knew they couldn't pass a law overtly implementing socialized medicine, so they set up an unballanced playing field so it happened naturally.

Actually, if you go online you can find these Joke cards any where, some funny some in bad taste, so to say it's serious is a little misleading. I have seen the cards the White House sends out and its a family portrait. This card is just like anything else that somebody makes to profit off a likeness it's the American way.

These political post are actual very entertaining because people seem to just type anything they have heard or read with a little neutral fact checking the correct information can easily be obtained making the half truths and lies so funny but then again the fact that people are so easily mislead based on a couple of key words and play on emotions and social conditioning is kind of sad though.

The government already has "socialized medicine". Both the Veterans Administration medical system and Medicare are alive and functioning. We can argue about their funding and efficiency but at least a few studies rate the VA system as quite competent. I have a riding buddy that is a VA Nurse and he says it's a pretty efficient care system. Although I have a VA Med card, I have no personal experience with it. The overuse of the word "socialism", I think, is really painful for me, I studied both Communism and Socialism in college and personally have a hard time dovetailing the real thing with.....when our Govt. tries to help folks. I know conservatives tend to believe it breeds dependance and I don't want anyone exploiting my tax dollars either BUT I simply think that some functions in society should not be in the "for profit" arena. I was on a jury once and learned what goes on behind locked doors in the ivory towers of medical insurance companies. The word murder is part of it. Denying coverage helps profit, helping people hurts the profit line. I could talk about what I learned all day but I won't, it's too complex and ugly, just know I have strong feelings about the insurance industry and their ways, including the awful lobbying that goes on to the Govt. whores they call congress. I'll shut up now, got to go Christmas shopping!

Again the subject was NOT about Lybia and Herman Cain's Response. This is another form of Deflection from the original Subject at Hand. This is what Liberals are about. I call it as I see It !!

If you watch the Video it's clear to me and others that he probably had other things on his Mind.................Perhaps He was overwhelmed by all the Accusations that were Happening at the time.....

:dunno:

Every rightest point made above requires a much deeper understanding of those issues. I will not waste org bandwidth disputing any of it. No matter how entrenched you are in your point of view, remember the ones with the real wisdom are able to see the clear perspective of those whom they disagree with, anything else is grounded in ignorance. After what I've been through in life, few things upset me but calling the Pres a "Kenyan" is one of the cheapest shots I've seen, it lowers the discourse and is just lowlife mean. Why didn't you call him a "Brit" or "Italian" or Frenchman", possible heritage from his mother?
No problem, my life is wonderful and full, I have been reduced to an "occasional poster" however, because of how those posts leave me feeling "on the outside". I love the Cap, Uncle Steve and the friends I've made here over the years but I didn't come here to read some of this stuff, specifically, stuff that is posted without regard to anyone that may not agree with you. Posters here have every right to express themselves and I have every right to respond.

I am a proud Christian first, conservative and a Kenyan-American. I love America and I disagree with Obama on EVERYTHING he stands for. I hate to see the ruining of this great nation by him and the far left. But, I respectfully agree with raydog here. Leave out the cheap shots and focus on what policies etc that one disagrees with. Be passionate about what you stand for and believe. Be learned and articulate it well. Don't hold back because the battle I believe is for the very soul of America and may I say what is dignified, true and right in this world. It is even beyond politics or political party. This is spiritual warfare.

With that said, the far-left goes way beyond, has mastered and owns cheap shot territory. They will damn near be out to destroy a whole clan of who they disagree with. Just look at how they treated the Bush family, Sarah Palin and her family, Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice etc etc. Now I know it doesn't feel good to see their magnificent leader getting just a taste of their medicine. Still, cheap shots from anybody is unnecessary and clouds the message. I personally am not offended to hear someone lash out with 'Kenyan'. I would perhaps only be if I know it is meant as an attack to discriminate me and my fellow Kenyans. But even then why waste my energy on mere words. I am proud of who I am and what I believe! Long live the Busa family! :)

Yepster, FYI, I have no problem with Kenyans. I just refer to the halfrican as one because that is where he is from.
I am not for one moment fooled by the fraudulent evidence of US birth that he has tendered.

Govt. whores they call congress... finally something most everyone could agree with???

hey? is jingoistic a real word?...if we was playing scrabble I would have to throw the BS Flag on that one:laugh:
