I guy i hunt with had one climb the ladder to his tree stand.He had to tap it in the head with his foot to stop it.He couldn't get a shot.It ran off and another guy at camp got it only minutes later.It was around 300 pounds. That's a little too close.

i had one last year. a small adult female that i would walk right by within 10 feet. she hung out by our cars looking for food and was very mellow. kinda stupid i know. at first we thought it was a cub with no mother so my wife walked almost right up to it to feed it still thinking it was a cub.
