Looks like he is indeed. It's doable. You really don't need to shift off the saddle unless you are carrying a lot of speed into the corners. In fact, the only reason road racers shift so much is the speed they are carrying, and the only reason they put their knees down is to tell where the pavement is. I pretty much ride straight up with a slight shift off the saddle. I used to shift off a lot, in-line with my shoulders, off the bike, which is the correct way to race at higher speeds, but I found it really isn't necessary for mild to slightly aggressive street riding, including the massive twisties we ride in WV.

Just my 2 cents though.
