Compartmentalization seems to have really slowed things down on the boards. A little healthy debate used to be fun and made for a lively experience on any given visit. Now it seems artificially stable, something like playland at McDonald's.. :confused2:

"Let's just celebrate everybody's birthday so as to keep some traffic on the site..."

"Don't want to get anybody's feelings hurt so let's keep it PC"..

Lot's of interesting people have minimized their presence or completely abandoned this place. It is too 'G' rated in my opinion..
Looking back to when it was a bit more free wheeling, it never, even in the slightest, resembled the "Regular (Filthy) internet".

So, what happened?

Flaming is ok, but all in good taste. It is a family place. Org members will give their shirt to help you if you are down and need a hand.

What, the political arguing isn't enough for you, Projekt?



I think we've already argued all the points worth arguing and everyone knows where everyone else stands. There's a lot of mutual respect for each other and what's the point of beating each other up AGAIN over the same old things.

But, a good topic would be, "How to raise your kids." I don't think we've pounded that one out yet.

I've found that, for the most part, there's a lot of respect from everyone on this site. And some people are more passionate about certain things, and it's good they speak their minds. But, when it gets out of hand, the mods / admins step in and straighten it out. Maybe there's a concern that if you create an "adults only" forum section, it might spill over to the others.

Bingo man! I was waiting to see if I was the only one who felt the same about this...

We adults can't be adults because of this Barney.Org family friendly atmosphere.

I haven't been a member for a long time but even so, I remember a time when it wasn't so PC. One could express themselves a bit more freely, like saying poop etc. without being sencered or chastised.

Still a great site though and until further notice I'll still adhere to 'The Rules'! ;-)

her Mom glared at me, the child looked me straight in the eye and asked,
'Why doesn't the poor homeless guy come over and do the work at your
house, and you can just pay him the $50?'

And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party, sweetheart!'

For example, my family doctor recently referred me to a female
urologist. I saw her yesterday and she is gorgeous. She's beautiful and

I know how you feel Projeckt. I have been hanging on GSXR.com a little but I do have to say they are not as welcoming and nice as the org.

I am a REAL NEWB and I can say that I don't think anyone speaks theirs minds like they did a couple of months ago. No one wants to get the "bars" under their screen name. Heck, I second and triple guess things I will post in the FAIL thread before I put them there but usually save the really good ones for emailing between board members.

With that said, YOU have not given us any good reads to in the words of the great coffee lady "DISCUSS".

Although it has been awhile since we have gotten down and dirty and picked on a racial group, like say the hispanics. Just joking..most of you know the thread I am referencing.
