The topic started in gtrpimp76's trackday pics, so I figured we should see how many people would do a Hayabusa.org trackday.

We can't really do East Coast or West Coast Tracks as they are too far for the other coast.

Lets see if we can decide on a track first.  Here's a few in the middle.

If you have a track, somewhere in the middle, that you'd like to nominate.  Post it up and I'll add it to the map below.

This definitely sounds interesting.. Miller or any in Colorado would work for me!

Miller looks like a blast, the downside:

Total Est. Time: 28 hours, 39 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 1949.69 miles

How about Road America WI,?
It's a loger track, prefect for a fast bike like the BUSA
Sounds like a great track, but its really far away from us Cali boyz. Remember those who are going to do this are going to have to trailer their bikes or ride there. Can't hop on United.

Distance: 2102.1 miles Approximate Travel Time: 30 hours 27 mins

That's why I'm thinking a Colorado track might be best. But its all gonna depend on who is going to go.

I can't speak for BaBusa or gtrpimp76, but I wouldn't be able to make road America, just too far.

This is time and distance from LA to Denver.
Distance: 1023.0 miles Approximate Travel Time: 14 hours 17 mins

And LA to Pueblo.
Distance: 1133.9 miles Approximate Travel Time: 15 hours 18 mins

I would be down for a track day but it would have to be like the one in New Mexico or Colorado.

Where are you located?  How far would one of those Colorado tracks be for you?
Asheville, NC

Second Creek Total Est. Time: 21 hours, 35 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 1438.19 miles

Man a long way for a track day. This would be my suggestion as much as I would like a track day with 20 plus Busa's have a West coast day and I will try to put together a East Coast Day at Road Atlanta next year.

The logistics of pulling a handful of people 1000+ miles to one location for a singe/double day of thrashing will be a monsterous challenge.

Great thread Charles!!!

I vote for MMP

Since the United States is 3,000 miles from coast to coast (give or take a couple hundred), I say we look for a track that is around 1,500-1,600 miles for both parties.

Would that be somewhere in the mid-west?

Yes. That's why one of us has to win the lottery and help some bros/sistas out.
