Call me dorky all you want I ride with modular all the time 
it was easier when me and the wife went on long trips and didnt have to take it off to have a smoke ...before everyone had to wait so we could put our layers back on ..especially when its raining cats and dogs
...and as far as wind noise modular is quieter than my other full faced ones ...and so much easier to talk to other bikers next to you and not have to explain the last 8 hours what you were saying let alone remember... makes for boring conversation
