07' question

Yep, this is true. Because the blue is higher up in frequency in the optical band close to the ultraviolet, it starts to hit power limits as the bike approaches the speed of light. The burgandy Busa is on the other end of the visual spectrum, closer to the infrared, so it can go quite a bit faster before it starts hitting the same limits that the blue busa hits at a substantially lower speed.

To put this in laymans terms, the blue Busa only looks faster when it's sitting still. Due to photonic drag in the inertial reference frame, the Blue Busa needs approximately 23.7 hp more to keep up with the Burgandy Busa at the top end.

Of course, the black frames of the Limited and 2007 models do reduce photonic drag for both bikes, but the Burgandy still is faster.

I hope I have made this clear.

Thats fricken great  classic

I am going to have to have Robot confirm this, otherwise, all I hear is "Lalalalalalalalallalalallalala"

Unless your planning on coming to OKLA, I will have to turn you over to DJSIN he is our local Burgandy Hayabusa is the faster color proving bike in that part of the country. Also has spikes so be carefull.

Sorry Todd didnt mean to put you on the spot.

Hey also enjoyed talking with you the other night, Very informative conversation. Thanks.

demmym I think we are gonna have to race and i'll show you how fast the blue is, But then again it wouldnt be a fair race since you have all that chrome and those spikes will just leave you stuck at the starting line. Why would you want traction control on a busa anyway?

I guess i'l have to show him whats up so he can tell you who is really the fastest color.

Just be carefull when the traction control kicks in.
ok you two just remember two things...first things first Me and Micheal(Demmym) was talking about my NOS setup so I probably would beat you in a race plus I have been riding for 22 years now, and secondly I still have your girlfriends Brittani's phone number(812-498-59_ _)...you know the one that is only one digit off from yours..I may just let you think your winning so I can turn around and go pick her up...LOL j/k
I have a better idea...why dont you and I take our Blue and Burgandy and go find some black 07's we should both be able to beat those.....

as for traction control, mine is called Schinko Ultra Soft, as for the LE I guess in a way they are all LE's becuase no 2 are alike unless they have been unmolested and are still in 100% stock form...

what the lalalalalalala is someone singing up there? j/k

No factory option for traction control...also no "LE" Limited Edition since the '06 model.

'99-'00 models were unristricted...the limiter on 2001 and up models...limits your max rpm in 6th gear.

True stories.

There is no traction control. There isn't even an 07 LE. That salesman should go into car sales if he wants traction control.???

No Traction Control and 2006 LIMITED was The Last Limted Edition for a HAYABUSA in North America . :beerchug:

By the way, here's more proof. Look how slow my bike is in blue:

Never herd of traction control, but I remember a forum on here some time ago about a balance sensor in the busa. Something about 2-6th gears have a balance sensor that helps prevent wheelies...
