Has anyone had any experience with Yana Shiki?

I stopped by the Suzuki dealer on Saturday hoping to get them to start a couple of the used busas that have Yoshi and Muzzy exhausts. Evidently all the bikes are stored dry and I wasn’t able to listen to them. I was really interested in the Yoshi, but the guy in the parts department was pushing Yana Shiki exhausts. According to the guy at the dealer, “they are just as good as the Yoshiâ€￾ and I couldn’t even get him to talk about Yoshi. I thanked him for his time and left without getting anything.

I believe they make rearsets also. If it is the same company I have heard bad things about them. I dont think I would buy any of thier products.

That is what I was afraid of. I have not been able to find out much about them by googling either.

a member posted of the rear sets brakeing off just under their weight.
i would pass on any of their products.
just my 2cents

I have a pair of blue yana shiki slip-ons on my 06. They sound pretty good. I plan on putting a full exhaust on the bike after this riding season (hope to have enough in the slush fund by then). I didnt get them for performance more for looks and sound.. they are pretty inexpensive too. .l

Thanks for the confirmations.

It sounded a little to good to be true, so that's why I asked.

Well i've never used them, i asked about them once, don't remeber what part exactly, but got about 10 replies really fast saying to stay away from them so i did.

EDIT: i remeber what it was brake rotors. but from everything i've heard stay away it's cheep in price, and quality.

Gonna go Yoshi!

Should I replace the entire exhaust system or just the rear sets?

you, but the rear sets are the foot pegs. If you are going to replace exhaust components, you have to answer this question, "Why are you getting exhaust?". If you are looking for looks and sound, just replace the cans. If you are looking to increase power replace the whole exhaust system, add a Power Commander and have the bike tuned.

ooops....

Just looking for sound now. The 'busa has plenty of power, especially after riding a Bandit.
