Santa sent me something that probably won't make sense to much of you.
I start vacation today. Unfortunately I had nothing to read so had planned on going to Barnes and Noble. Before I could summon the energy to pry myself out of my chair one of Santa's elves from the United States Postal Service knocked on my door.
It was a package, just a little too big to fit in my mailbox. The return address is from Santa, North Pole.
When I opened the package there sat a book, "Battle Ready", written by none other than Tom Clancy and retired USMC General Tony Zinni with a foreword written by a fellow oRg'er.
This book not only came at the perfect time, but from someone here at the oRg who knows very little about me, was a perfect gift.
I don't post a lot, I don't have much to say and usually it doesn't mean much when I am done but even that little bit I get rewarded with a perfect gift.
You guys rock, you really do. Thank you and
Semper Fi,
Mark
