those Beemer riders are correct. I have a smoke Laminar lip on my 2003 Hayabusa. And it's very effective in redirecting and diffusing the air that's coming at you. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I changed to a ZG sport tour soon after purchasing, seemed too big for the bike so I switched to ZG DB. Truthfully can't say there's a detectable difference IMO. Couldn't lean over far enough to actually look through the windshield with either. With the stock shield I could feel the wind blast pulling my helmet off. There is a consensus that the DB style is most aerodynamic and actually permits a higher theoretical topspeed.
