where to mount controller for heated grips

So where is the best place to mount a rotary knob and led for heated grips. I was thinking it would be nice if I could find a housing that would just bolt to the handle bars. I am trying to avoid cutting a hole in the plastics to mount it if possible. I looked at ram mount and a couple of others but didn't really see anything that looked right. I though maybe if I could find a box small enough I could use the two bolts at the front of the tank.

You can perhaps put it in a small box and mount it in front of the ignition switch, which I did on my previous CBR 1100 XX. Or just use a small switch as shown in the second pic in https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/new-2008-busa-threads/97460-cockpit-upgrade.html
