Where can i purchase heat wrap tapes for my pipes?

I have a full Akro system and want to wrap my pipes so they dont burn the fairings, would like the tape to be silver in color if possible to match my pipes.

Should be able to go down to your local performance shop and buy some header wrap. I got mine at Ramchargers here in Michigan.

In case you don't know, Thermo-Tec now make a black exhaust wrap. Much less messy than using a white one and painting it.

Don't heat wrap Ti. Turns to powder under the tape.

Let the header melt the small section that it will melt, mine took only a couple of rides to stop melting the underneath part at the rear where the 2 sides meet. If you use header wrap it will most definitely rot out the tubes the same way it does on car headers. I tried the wrap on a few different type of car headers, they all rusted out within 6 months, and warranty was voided because of the wrap. Mind you they were not stainless steel or titanium, but I wouldn't chance it. Good Luck.
