What kind of brake fluid do you guys run?

Just curious what kind of fluid you guys run?  DOT-3, 4, 5....?

Also is there anything special about the different brand names?  Are you buying it at an autoparts store, motorcycle shop or wal-mart, etc...?  

Who/what brand are you running?

Nothing has changed since the BUSA came out right?  The clutch and brake fluid are still the same, right?

I heard that DOT 5 was a type of synthetic and you have to flush the system if you want to use it . I don't know what the benfit would be.

Dot 5 is silicone based. It will not(!) mix with other types of fluids so be careful to flush completely if you intend to use it. It does have its good points though in that it is not Hygroscopic (absorbs moisterure) like most other brake fluids. I just use Dot 4 now though.

i use dot 5 and love it. higher boiling point so it works better
