Weighed my Busa, guess the weight?

Materials and supply close to my home has a scale for dump trucks. (stone, sand, etc)
Accurate + - 5 lbs. It rounds up to nearest 5 lbs.
Busa with exactly 1/2 showing on the fuel tank (2-3 gallons?)weighs------520 lbs.
Svelt she is!!

Actually, I don't even notice the little creature is there at all when we're hurtling together.

At the Pridmore school I kept commenting on the Busas hefty poundage compared to other sport bikes, but by the end of the day I think many were fed up with hearing that!

Thought somone might ask that.
The black X pipe 15lbs + 5lbs each can makes 25lbs total for stock system.
The stainless steel Micron I have was not weighed, I will check with them. I guess about 10 lbs.

How much does gas weigh?

As a pilot, I can tell you with some confidence that gas weighs 6 lb per U.S. gallon and 7.2 lb per Imperial gallon.

FYI: Engine oil weighs 7.5 lb per U.S. gallon and 9 lb per Imperial gallon.
