The discussion about the second amendment made me chuckle a bit. Saying that it’s not about sport shooting, home defense or hunting, that it’s about being able to stand up to the government and/or law enforcement. Maybe in the 1800’s and probably not even then. There’s not a chance in hell of beating the military in a gun fight in your front yard. Regardless, it's not about might. I get that it’s about principles but taking the law into your own hands is what that philosophy is based on. By that way of thinking, mobs and gangs use their second amendment rights to have shoot outs with law enforcement because they feel they are just in their cause. The second amendment is there for a good reason, the right to own a firearm, but Ramaswamy uses rhetoric to endear himself to a sector.
Yeppers, he’s just another politician.
