undertail kit

Whats up fella Busa troopers I own a 2004 Blk/purple Hayabusa. I bought it off of someoone but cant get in contact with the guy that is why I am addressing my problem to the forum. The problem I am having is that the undertail kit that was installed by the previous owner has caused me not to pass inspection. The reason why is because when I hit the brakes the lights start flashing instead of just staying on like a normal brake light would. Im trying to find out is this suppose to be this way or is the wiring wrong PLease helpy ya boy out.

How about posting a pic of the bike and the undertail so we know what we are talking about?

+1 On BigBS's post - if they flash it sounds as though there is a back-off module installed. If you can't figure out how to post pics, then get with me and I'll get you taken care of... also, if you can't post pics, tell us if you have a stock looking tail light or two light lenses.
