I'm just going to put it here so the PM's might slow down.
I will be looking for between 3700-4000 shipped for the kit in the us. That is the ballpark. Could be less, but I'm fairly sure it won't be more. I know I'm going to lose money and the time; but such is life.
Like I said it comes with a lot of extras plus already modified stock parts.
I have already started pulling it off and will post an ad in the for sale forum once I get it all off and can take pictures. I will go by who pm'd or posted first already.

Wow!

Glad to know you saved her and no harm done. Can't you adjust the boost and even adjust what rpm the boost comes in at? If you can do that, then you know when to expect more power, etc...

Just a thought.

Good save, glad your ok. Boost or no boost, only you can decide that, and it sounds like you have. Be safe and good luck with the sale.

Just glad you're OK Nathan, and good move considering the little guy depending on you at home...

I'd be dead if I had a turbo bike...unless I were tracking the Busa, I don't feel the need...

Pipe, i know you can ride and everyone has a mishap now and then. I really don't think the turbo is to blame. I think what happened is what happens to alot of people that ride a bike that's much more powerful than their usual bike. You rode the turbo like a NA bike and it almost bit you.   The same can happen on a stock one if you don't adjust your riding habits to the bike. I mean, you knew it would drasticly improve the power when you were installing it right?  I guess i'm bummed for you since i know how much you've been trying to get a turbo over the last couple years and you finally get one and you had a rough ride the first time out.   I highly highly recommend some type of swingarm extention. Even only 2" longer will help the bike to handle the increased HP.

Sorry for your loss. Would love to take it off your hands if I were near my sled.

+1

I know I scared myself twice in the first 2 weeks of getting my new '07. I had to learn how to ride it and not ride it like cruser. Like I said before, you have to make that desision but it appears that you have been working twords a turbo for a while. IMHO, you might give a turbo a second chance now that you better understand the power of it.

Good idea, selling it.

I had the same thoughts recently when I had to hang off the side of the bike (think kneesliding) at about 160mph, on the interstate, at night. The scariest part was that it was 100% my fault through inattentiveness and all that I could think of was my 2y.o. daughter.

I almost thought about thinking about maybe selling the bike. This sounds like the right decision for you.

well sort of mixed emotions on this one...

To much horsepower is like "to much money"

But then again, these bikes are sillass fast in stock form. Trying to contain the power on a daily basis is pretty tough to do. (how many times a ride do you get the throttle cracked wide open?)

Temptation would be far to great for me to contain myself.. SO.... how about a drag bike build?

Wow, that's a scary story. As if the busa isn't fast enough without boost!

Nathan,

Glad your safe and alive to ride another day. I'm not so sure the tubo's the problem as much as learning to control that throttle especially coming on and off the boost. I also know it's hard not to use what ya have. Good job on keeping your head on straight and keeping her upright.

Hate to hear it Nate, but understand why you're doing it. Had a similar thought after my get-off in May. Do what you feel is best, but maybe you should rethink this one before committing to a sale. You have gone through a lot trying to get this bike where you wanted it.
