My rim has a small ding on the bead and it causes my tire to loose air i had the repair shop try and beat the dent out but it made it worse. the Harly guys at my work told me to run a tube in it. i just put on a new tire while at the shop. I would like some input from some of you before i put a tube in it. thanks

for my own peace of mind i would just buy a new/used rim and replace it. you can also send them off for a professional repair.

IMO, replace the wheel. Why greaten the risk of hurting/killing yourself or others.

Get a used rim. Not worth worrying about it. I've seen rims for like $50-$60 in good shape.

Amazing!! Using a tube in a 190MPH motorcycle to save a few bucks.

Another reason why not to buy a used motorcycle.

rims are cheap compared to how much damage (to bike and rider) a blown rim/tire at speed can cause.

oy! tubes are bad in tubeless radial tires. best suggestion buy a wheel.
