Why would you qualify in the rain? ???

If it's raining during the aloted qualifying period, and you want to be in the race, you qualify in the rain, no choice.
Looks like he was on the totally wrong tires for the wet though. We were going faster than that at Heartland Park last fall in the pouring rain.
Does seem strange about leaving the bike, it was such a slow speed crash neither he nor the bike looked to be damaged much, or even at all. Pick it up and at least try to get back to the pit.

That whole video looked off to me. The crash, the way he reacted, leaving the bike, not help arrived, it all just seemed very very weird

Not to mention how weird it is to ride an electric motorcycle in the first place.

The bike seemed cool to me but that's a strange reaction to run away like that....unless there were others on the track at the sametime. But to leave it in the middle of the track??????
