Nope. Not at all. So compared to what?

There are 2 choices. Biden or Trump. I hate to say it, because yeah it's America, but a self centered, womanizing, narcissist, liar, convicted fraudster, did a better job than Biden, and will do a better job now.

How do you motivate kids to be proud of America, when these are the options?

I have made it known my intent is to leave this country as far as living here. For selfish reasons I made a lot of retirement $$ from Trump's first run. One more like that and I'll be able to cash up another level and be more comfortable in how I'll fund my retirement plan better.

That's the closest I can feel about my patriotic mood about the future of the country I was raised in.
Exactly my point....at one time the president of the United States was a person that inspired young people to do better and to be emulated.

That time may come again.....but not for the next few years.

Interesting comment.

The two incumbents inspired Americans to choose what they think best. So what we have is what inspires Americans today. The two candidates, their values, and policies is what the majority of Americans want, so we can reason that your "at one time" is gone and we now have a new generation.

Sadly it is what it is.

I think there are a lot of Never Trumpers, who simply do not like where the country is at the moment and they have to choose between where we are now and Trump's policies, regardless of what they think of him.

I'm crossing fingers that somehow another candidate jumps in and becomes the favorite nominee before the elections. Trump in prison, Biden's health, who knows.....

Same as in the last election.....that's how Biden came to be in there I reckon....

Unless there’s some law that I doubt even exists, that says a convicted felon ex president loses his lifetime security detail, trump won’t ever go to prison.

For the sake of the country, I sure hope you are correct.

The really sad thing is all the MAGA women that jump to his side like some sort of cult leader......he disrespects them yet they love him for whatever reason.......

Most women would refer to a guy like this as a "pig" and move on never looking back....but not his rabid followers.

If he owned a chip truck and did these things, it's bad, when he's the president of the most powerful nation who is supposedly representing ALL people of the United States, it's inexcusable....
Doesn’t seem to bother them. And she’s 100% right. Locker room talk is just that. Everyone here has said same thing including Monkey. A bunch of hypocrites getting their panties in a wad. Guarantee you’ve all said a lot worse about women. Hell the things I’ve said id like to do to Sophia Vergara would put his silly comment to rest. I’d do more than just grab that taco!

I agree......however it's all innocent until you are the president of America or in another high position...

If a General in the military did any of this, they'd bounce him quick enough.....

I personally was raised to be respectful towards women.

He said it long before he ever even decided to run. Can’t take it back either.

Copy and paste, prosecutors training in NY:

A former member of the US Attorney’s Office in New York has written about a popular training exercise among the staff: Name a famous person and then tell the junior prosecutors to figure out a plausible crime that could be pinned on him. The junior prosecutors win the game by finding the most obscure offense that fits the character of the celebrity and carries the toughest sentences.

This sort of thing should be part of a back ground check to make sure there aren't too many skeletons in the closet before the incumbent is allowed to enter the fray...

It sure would have prevented all this hullabaloo.....

The good thing about all the attention being focused on Trump is 'ol Hunter Biden is able to keep a bit of a lower profile in his court case....

We have some really interesting rules over here.

If I get convicted of a felony, I will lose my PE (Professional Engineers License) Means I may no longer practice as a PE.

Same goes for my wife, if she gets convicted as a felony, she will lose her RN (Registered Nurse) license. In her case it would mean immediate dismissal and the end of her career.

However, if you are a Felon, you can still be the president and hold the highest office of the country.

So you want to scan peoples past for a possible sexist comment one made behind closed doors? Man to man? You’d eliminate every hetero man on earth. Either they said similar or they are a liar. How far back shall we go? To their first spoken word? Pretty soon I’d wager all our phones will come with agreements where we have to provide open mics. They’ll record, listen and scan for anything you may say against the narrative. Disappear mid night to be ‘rendered’ elsewhere.

Nothing that deep but if someone goes into the Oval office that has a whole bunch of skeletons in their closet, what we are experiencing right now is the result of this.

The people who brought Trump in must have known he was a womanizer (adulterer) just knowing this would be enough to omit a person in this situation.

I kind of look at like selection for a general or force Sgt Major.....past controversaries are avoided in their selection, why not the person who will be in charge of the most powerful nation on the planet?

Not a military dictatorship over here, where Presidents are selected and promoted by a selection and promotion board.

Trump was nominated with 2242 delegates, following a primary vote of millions of citizens.

So “the people who brought Trump in” were the majority of Republicans who are eligible to vote.

Is there not some sort of background check or at least a morality check?

Seems dangerous to not have some sort of thing in place, could end up with a psycho or worse....

Look at how lucky Canada got with our freakshow leader.....

The people that brought Trump in happen to be the U.S. MILITARY in 2015.
You'll find out soon enough.

Getting back to the original post of Trump's guilt.........

............................of course he is guilty.......................does he deserve the craziness of these trials and what will most likely come out of the sentencing, not quite sure.......

Especially since most likely many of his peers were or are guilty of the same offences yet will go either unpunished or get a slap on the wrist.
