Is there not some sort of background check or at least a morality check?

Seems dangerous to not have some sort of thing in place, could end up with a psycho or worse....

I'd imagine we do a similar thing in Canada judging by the "special" person we have as our Prime Minster who wore black face on several occasions and there were videos (which disappeared) of him hating on English people...

I was referring to other business CEOs like him who have done the same or similar things as he did.....he didn't do these things while in office.

I would say if his peers in industry were caught in the same sort of thing as he was, I'd imagine their process went quite differently..

I'm not excusing him, just pointing out the difference between him and others like him who are not in the public eye perse.....

Out of it all, I feel sorry for his family especially his son Barron who will have to live with this garbage in his future.....

Nothing that deep but if someone goes into the Oval office that has a whole bunch of skeletons in their closet, what we are experiencing right now is the result of this.

The people who brought Trump in must have known he was a womanizer (adulterer) just knowing this would be enough to omit a person in this situation.

I kind of look at like selection for a general or force Sgt Major.....past controversaries are avoided in their selection, why not the person who will be in charge of the most powerful nation on the planet?

He’s no different than the rest of them who were already there. Just that the wheels of Justice turned toward him.

Most and almost all business CEO’s who are Trump’s Peers run public companies. They are under management of shareholders and a board.

The Trump conglomeration is privately owned by Trump, within the law, including the new laws Alvin Bragg just invented, Trump can do whatever he likes.

I will still be voting for him, the country was in a much better place when he was in office, put aside your disdain for him, what you’ve heard him say or rumors. Look at how much you were paying for groceries, gas , power bills, etc. We had a secure border and We as a country were energy independent and the lowest unemployment rates ever. That’s what you should base your decision on , if you vote democrat, you’re voting for your own self destruction and the country’s. That doesn’t make good sense
