Triple Tree from '99-'07?

Will the triple tree from the '99-'07 'Busa work on the '08? I have an opportunity to pick one up for a steal and need to know if it will work on mine.

It will not fit. The area around the key is a different shape and would have to be machined to fit. i bought mine for my 08 from allthingschrome.net but i'm sure some of the site sponsors would have them.

Too bad no one but me makes one that wont hit the fairings with stock levers. All others are second rate parts. you get what u pay for..
