How much real estate is available? You could go with RAMs stem mount.

(HayaBoosta03 @ Feb. 10 2007,14:55) My question is, I might buy some Soupy's Risers to lower the front (and bones for the rear) but with the clutch mount for the Zumo, will a Double Bubble Screen plus Risers and Zumo be a good combo? Allowing clearance for GPS?
You WILL want a stem mount. I don't like the clearance without risers/with DB screen.

Ok cool I am checking the price of that Stem mount. So I will get the risers. Rythm yeah I know I probably could have done better but Im an ebay man and trust them more than websites. I calculated 63$ difference, not enough to make me cry but I sure would like to have that still on me lol but sometimes I just gotta have if I really want it, even it I pay more.

I have a Kenwood Navigation/dvd in my truck, and the best part of it is the fact that I can enter any address or phone number anywhere in North America, and it shows me every turn. Plus, if I miss a corner, I just have to hit recalculate and it shows the very next street to turn on to get back on track.

Do these units do this? It HAS to have complete Canada maps.

The 550 will automatically redirect whenever you get off course. Any address will go into the system, but how well it works is COMPLETELY determined by how current/good the map is. Once in a while it tells you a place is up on the right, but really is on the left, but nothing serious.

I have a Techmount holding the Zumo...a Beltronics detector on the windscreen, and a 2 into one adapter for my earbuds. The detector yells at me if I'm listening to XM, cell phone, mp-3 or the british lady on Zumo! BTW the Zumo unplugs, replugs into my KLR and I've ridden hours on rough whoops and fractured rock surface with NEVER a problem! I love the ZUMO! Don't forget you can preload (from MotionBasedTechnologies.com) a complete flyby of your ride before you go on it..or after you go to show your friends! Motion Based is a company owned by Garmin and there are all kinds of free internet services you can use for rides.
